About the job

In the Cybersecurity unit within the IT operational area, you will belong to the team responsible for the authority's IT and cybersecurity through governance, auditing, training, and operational vulnerability management. You will focus on operational IT security measures, such as vulnerability analysis and log analysis. An important part of your role is to provide technical advice on operational cybersecurity issues. You will also have operational responsibility for conducting vulnerability scans and analyzing technical risks. Handling and following up on certain security incidents will be part of your tasks. You will work closely with the operations and applications departments, the DevSecOps team, and the system owners within the authority. In the long term, you will have the opportunity to conduct threat modeling and penetration testing.

Your education and experience

We are looking for someone who:

  • has several years of experience in technical operational IT security work
  • has experience in operational work with vulnerability scanning tools
  • has experience in operational work with a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool
  • has a good practical understanding of IT security and IT operations
  • has several years of experience working in an IT department with operational IT security issues
  • expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you:

  • have experience working with SIEM or vulnerability analysis
  • have certifications in SIEM or a vulnerability scanning tool
  • have previous experience working in the public sector
  • have experience working with technical audits, such as penetration testing or code review
  • have experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
