Strandskolan is a municipal primary school with grades F-3. Here, you will collaborate with other teachers in both primary school and after-school care along with wonderful students. Strandskolan has suitable facilities in a very beautiful environment. The school will be phased out at the end of the school year 26/27, and the operations will move in and become part of Pilängskolan's organization. We are a cheerful group who often laugh together. We help each other and are constantly working to develop our operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a work team together with two qualified teachers in primary school and two qualified teachers in after-school care. There is also a student resource attached to the work team. The position involves working in grade 1.

Your employment will involve a combination of teaching during school hours and after-school time. This is a reinforcement position linked to the work team. The position is a vacation position and extends over the spring term of 2026.

We want you to view your assignment as developing, relational, important, and challenging. You need to be flexible and adaptable based on the needs that may fluctuate throughout the school day as well as during after-school time.

You take pride in your assignment and contribute to creating an after-school environment that is fun, meaningful, and educational. We focus on an accessible learning environment, movement throughout the day, and ensuring that students feel safe and enjoy coming to school and after-school care to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are a qualified teacher in after-school care or a qualified primary school teacher for grades F-3.
• You have experience working in after-school care or the early years of primary school.
• You have experience adapting your approach/responses to meet students' needs.
• You have a positive view of students where you work to help each student succeed based on their own abilities.
• You are a calm, secure person who prioritizes the best interests of the student.
• You have a good ability to build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You have a professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You take personal responsibility for planning the activities together with colleagues.

Meritorious

• Experience related to students with NPF is meritorious.
• Good experience working in a Google environment.
