Stubben is a small preschool where everyone knows everyone. Here, there is a warm sense of community – our own “Stubben spirit.” We care for each other, our environment, and our surroundings. Sustainability is an obvious part of our daily life, and we are proud to be Green Flag certified.

The position is a fixed-term employment from January 19 to June 30, 2026.

Your role with us

As a preschool teacher:

• You see the competent child and base your teaching on the child's interests and needs while working with colleagues.
• You actively work with pedagogical documentation to follow and develop children's learning processes.
• You use digital tools as a natural part of teaching.
• You contribute new ideas, take initiative, and see the value in collegial learning.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed preschool teacher and passionate about children's development and learning.
• Is professional in your approach and creates engagement, responsibility, and joy in interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues.
• Is open, creative, and willing to think outside the box to develop the operations.

A criminal record extract from the police must be presented before employment. The position is filled on the condition that the necessary decisions are made.

As there are tasks that may require signing specific documents, the position assumes that you have a personal mobile phone where you can identify yourself with Mobile BankID.

About us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and can be their best. The administration's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

Preschool Stubben in Finja is Green Flag certified. With our environmentally conscious work, we contribute to sustainable development and work on various projects within Green Flag. We offer children a safe, educational, and creative environment. Our outdoor environment is stimulating and invites inspiring play and activities. We grow, compost, and teach children to sort waste. The curriculum for preschool is the foundation of our operations.
