CULTURE AND ASSOCIATION ADMINISTRATION

The Culture and Association Administration is a new administration that reports directly to the Culture and Association Committee. The administration is responsible for libraries, general culture, art halls, swimming facilities, music schools, citizen offices, sports and leisure activities, and tourism. Our goal is to offer all residents a rich and varied cultural and leisure offer based on the needs and wishes of our citizens.

MUSIC SCHOOL

We at the music school are a cheerful, pleasant, curious, and serious team. With students at the center, we ensure that there is a lot of interaction during lessons and in other contexts. In addition to lessons, we offer both orchestras/ensembles and choirs as well as a lively outward-facing activity. Music should be built on joy, and playing together is an important way to achieve that!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for teaching saxophone and clarinet students at the music school, as well as wind ensemble/wind orchestra. You have experience teaching both individually and in groups. You are accustomed to organizing concerts/projects independently and/or together with colleagues and inspiring students to participate in ensemble playing.

Teaching takes place in Staffanstorp on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The position is a part-time employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is important that you demonstrate your pedagogical experience and competence. We are looking for someone with a music college degree focusing on both saxophone/clarinet and pedagogy.

You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in various contexts and functions. You encourage student learning and are happy to share knowledge that is useful for the organization and your colleagues. You have the ability to plan and organize your work and follow up and complete activities.

Recruiting students is part of the job and largely takes place under your own responsibility.

Teaching takes place in Staffanstorp on Mondays and Tuesdays.

It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license and access to your own car.
