Are you a truly skilled educator who wants to work on pedagogical development alongside your teaching duties? Then you might be the one we are looking for as we seek a lead teacher for Möllevångsskolan in math/natural sciences for grades 7–9.

Möllevångsskolan currently has five dedicated lead teachers who drive the pedagogical development at the school on behalf of the management team. In close consultation with the school leadership, you will have excellent conditions to plan, implement, and evaluate the development initiatives for which you are responsible. Your development initiatives inspire your colleagues and contribute to a higher level of goal fulfillment. Our focus is on implementing our three teaching principles to enhance our teaching quality.

At the same time, the main part of your position involves teaching. You will conduct a varied, creative, and enjoyable teaching experience for our students, both individually and in teams. You will find strategies to reach every student and contribute to increased goal fulfillment. You will plan, assess, evaluate, and develop the educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work.

The lead teacher works at their own workplace but also has a partially cross-municipal/administrative role by spreading good examples.

Qualifications

You who apply are a certified teacher with qualifications in math/natural sciences for grades 7–9. To be considered for the lead teacher position, you must be able to document at least four years of well-documented work after graduation with teaching within the framework of one or more positions in the school system. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience in mentoring other teachers or driving pedagogical development processes.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
