Primary Teacher for After-School Care at Montessori Mondial Malmö

The school has approximately 260 students from grades F-9. For the spring term, the after-school care is divided into three departments: F-1, 2-3, and 4-6.

Your Profile and Mission

We are looking for a licensed primary teacher for after-school care with a strong personal commitment to learning, collegial learning, and developing our students' knowledge. Montessori training is a significant plus! You are attentive and want to guide students for the future. You are also structured and have an easy time building relationships with students. You have a license with the authority to teach in after-school care and preferably with the authority to teach or an interest in home economics. You have experience working as a primary teacher in after-school care or as a leisure educator and have worked with students in grades F–6. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply them in your daily work. You are creative and can adapt your approach, methods, and pedagogical tools based on both individual needs and group needs. You develop teaching to be inspiring, fun, and challenging, and you see each student from a holistic perspective with a positive view of students. You have a professional approach, good collaboration skills, and clear leadership both in teaching and in after-school activities. You work based on evidence-based research and use relevant digital tools in a safe and effective manner. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months (provided you meet the requirements for eligibility under the Education Act). Scope is 100 percent. Start date is January 7, 26.
