The Child and Student Support Unit gathers the municipality's specialist competence to provide students with the best possible support. We work cross-professionally and closely with guardians and schools to create safe, inclusive, and developing learning environments for every student.

Your mission

As a special educator, you will:

• Teach students in smaller groups and be an important part of their daily lives
• Use your special educational skills to shape teaching that works for them
• Contribute to a learning environment where safety, structure, and development are at the center

We are looking for someone who

Has the right competence and commitment to support students with special needs in a professional and developing way.

• You are a licensed primary school teacher with a special education degree in mathematics for grades 4-9, preferably with additional theoretical subjects. A special education degree in other areas with at least two subject qualifications is also welcome.
• Have experience working in a special education group
• Is open to new ideas and working methods and uses them to develop both teaching and operations
• Curious and eager to learn with a strong drive to grow in your profession
• Actively creates good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians
