Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 7-9 with a qualification in mathematics to Neptuniskolan.

In the role of a primary school teacher at Neptuniskolan, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge. You will evaluate and develop the pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents, the student's needs and abilities, both individually and in collaboration with subject and work teams. You will conduct well-proven, creative teaching and find strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth. In this role, you will collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and actively participate in the school's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified and licensed teacher in the subject of mathematics for grades 7-9. Previous experience as a teacher is an advantage. You are clear in your leadership and skilled in communication. You possess good didactic and pedagogical abilities and have a solid understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents, which you can effectively use in your daily work. You have an investigative approach to your practice and adapt teaching based on the needs of the student group. You can lead and organize your work to create a conducive study environment and a good learning atmosphere for our students throughout their school day.

You have the ability to develop your teaching based on evidence-based research and are familiar with digital tools. Of course, you maintain a professional attitude and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
