Hököpinge School is a new and growing primary school that opened in 2019. The school has been gradually expanded and currently includes students from preschool to grade 6. The goal is for the operation to be fully developed into a K-9 school with space for 550 students by the 2028/2029 school year. In August 2023, we moved into completely new, modern, and flexible premises that provide good opportunities to create accessible and developing learning environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are in a development phase where we are building and shaping working methods that give us the best possible conditions to meet all students with different experiences, conditions, and needs. With us, you will be an important part of a team where we collaborate closely across professions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Working in a cross-professional team together with teachers, student health, and leisure staff to create a holistic approach to the students' school day.
• Following students through both school hours and leisure time, contributing to safety, structure, and good opportunities for development.
• Designing and developing accessible learning environments that meet students with different conditions and needs.
• Working in a structured, relationship-building, and adaptable manner with a focus on ensuring that every student succeeds.
• Meeting students with neuropsychiatric variations, including autism, and contributing to developing methods that strengthen their participation and learning.
• Participating in planning, documentation, analysis, and collegial learning.
• Being involved in shaping the school's continued development, both practically and pedagogically.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified educator with experience working with students on the autism spectrum who:

• Has a safe and clear pedagogical leadership.
• Works relationally and puts the best interests of the student in focus.
• Has good knowledge of and experience in designing adaptations and structures for students with different needs.
• Is engaged in development work and enjoys being part of a growing organization.
• Collaborates well and has a professional and warm approach.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum.
• Knowledge of accessible learning environments, clear pedagogical methods, and low-arousal approaches.
