JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in grades 4-6 with a primary focus on physical education and health as well as Swedish, in accordance with applicable governing documents. Teaching in additional subjects, such as mathematics, English, or other subjects within the framework of your certification, may also be included.

You actively work to adapt teaching to each student's individual conditions and needs, creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment characterized by clear expectations, good study conditions, and a desire to learn. Your role also includes identifying, supporting, and following up on students in need of special support in close collaboration with student health and colleagues.

An important part of the work is to build good relationships with students, work preventively around safety and conflict management, and contribute to a positive and respectful climate in the school. You collaborate closely with colleagues in working groups and subject teams and maintain an active dialogue with guardians and external partners.

You are responsible for documentation, assessment, and follow-up of students' knowledge development and use digital tools as a natural support in planning, teaching, communication, and administration. The role also includes continuously reflecting on and developing your teaching and contributing to the school's collective quality and development work in accordance with the school's mission and values.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with a teaching license with the authority to teach in grades 4-6 in the subjects of Physical Education and Health as well as Swedish. It is an advantage if you have any of the following subjects such as mathematics, English, or other subjects within the framework of your certification.

You have work experience in planning and implementing teaching that is adapted to each student's individual conditions. You have experience in creating a structured and safe learning environment with clear expectations, good study conditions, and a desire to learn. Furthermore, you have experience working with students in need of special support and in supporting students in preventing and managing conflicts. Through your work, you have demonstrated commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school's mission and its interaction with the outside world.

To succeed in the role, you are relationship-building and have an easy time establishing trusting collaborations both within the school and with external contacts. You are a confident and stable pedagogical leader who has the ability for self-reflection and continuously reviews and develops both your own and the working group's methods. You are structured and goal-oriented in your approach and have a natural ability to organize and prioritize based on given goals. You are also digitally confident and use digital tools as a natural part of your work for planning, communication, follow-up, and documentation. As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and professional. You act in accordance with the ethical principles of the teaching profession and have good analytical skills as well as a careful and responsible approach to documentation and follow-up of students' knowledge development.
