JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Kungsskolan is now looking for an engaged and secure resource for one of our special education groups. Do you want to make a difference in students' everyday lives and work in an environment where relationships, structure, and collaboration are in focus? Then this could be the position for you.

About the position

As a resource in the special education group, you will work closely with students who have various support needs in their school day, many of whom have neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF). You will collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a safe, structured, and developing learning environment. The work involves both pedagogical and social support during the school day, in the classroom as well as during breaks and transitions. The work includes:

  • Providing individual support and instruction to students based on their needs
  • Supporting students in teaching situations and social contexts
  • Working with clarifying pedagogy, structure, and predictability
  • Contributing to a safe and calm learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers, special educators, and student health
  • Following routines and Kungsskolan's value-based work

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (e.g., autism and ADHD)

Experience working with students in need of special support, particularly students with NPF, is an advantage

Good ability to build relationships and meet students with clarity, structure, and empathy

Patience, responsibility, and a good ability to take initiative and collaborate.
