Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for a special educator who is interested in a new assignment with us at Apelgårdsskolan, working with our grades 4-9. The position is a parental leave substitute and extends until 2026.
Like all employees at our school, you work to create an enjoyable and stimulating learning environment so that our students can achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially.
In your role, you will work at the organizational, group, and individual levels with mapping, guidance, and observation of individual children, students, or groups. You will work preventively to eliminate obstacles in various learning environments and develop work related to support measures and adaptations for our students in need of special support. Your responsibilities also include conducting training and guiding our staff while supporting school management in working with children and students in need of special support.
You will be part of our student health team and thereby contribute to increased operational and methodological development at Apelgårdsskolan.
Qualifications
You who are applying have a degree in special education. Previous experience as a special educator is an advantage. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work.
You have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can thus lead and organize work towards the student(s) to create a conducive learning environment throughout the day. Based on evidence-based research, we see that you can develop your work, and we want you to have good habits and knowledge of working with digital tools.
