Pilens Montessoriskola, located with fields around the corner, is situated in Fru Alstad, 12 km north of Trelleborg and a 30-minute drive from Malmö and Lund. The premises are housed in a former village school and consist of both preschool, school, and after-school care.

Do you want to help create great days for the students at the school while also developing the operations at Pilens Montessoriskola?

The operations are based on Maria Montessori's ideas about learning and development. We focus on each individual's needs and strive for the children to develop into independent, social, and harmonious individuals. Collaboration and cooperation are fundamental to our operations.

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 1-3, preferably with Montessori training/experience, but this is not a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on initiative, flexibility, teamwork skills, and having a positive attitude. We seek someone who recognizes each student's unique abilities with a focus on the children's and the organization's development and learning. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the educational work in the school, contributing to collegial learning. You will take responsibility for and have insight into the students' well-being, which means being attentive to each student's circumstances and needs. Have high expectations for the students and their willingness/ability to develop. You will shape the educational activities and environment based on the student's needs and interests.

Experience in Montessori operations is an advantage but not a requirement. You should be a person who sees opportunities instead of obstacles, who works well in a team as well as independently, and who has a good ability to build relationships. It is important that the values of the curriculum permeate your approach. We would like you to be a co-researching teacher who is curious and allows students to be involved in the work.
