JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher at Byavångsskolan and Odenslundsskolan, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for planning and developing the educational work according to the school's governing documents and other tasks related to the profession. You should have a good ability to collaborate and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

You will work in a creative and inspiring environment where each student has the opportunity to develop their musicality and personal expression.

In your role, you will, among other things:

• Teach music in grades 4-6 and lower grades.
• Utilize our well-equipped music rooms with a comprehensive and varied range of instruments.
• Provide students with the opportunity to explore and try different music genres and styles.
• Participate in the schools' joint activities such as the start of the school year, theme days, and school graduations.
• Collaborate with the work team to create a safe and positive school environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license with qualifications in music.

Experience in classroom teaching in music and familiarity with planning, executing, and adapting teaching according to students' different levels is required.

As a person, you are driven, courageous, and willing to challenge yourself to continuously learn and develop. You have good digital skills that are visible in the planning, execution, and evaluation of teaching, providing accessibility for both colleagues, students, and guardians. In your role, you are a good role model. You are a relationship builder with the ability to motivate and support students in finding their intrinsic motivation for learning and development. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have leadership qualities and experience in development work together with others based on set goals.

Since communication with children, guardians, and colleagues is a significant part of the role, it is essential to be fluent in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

A B driver's license is a prerequisite as the position is located at two schools.
