About the Position

We are in need of more substitute teachers for short-term assignments, to substitute in classes, at after-school care, or as student resources in groups.

We will contact you when a need arises, and you must be able to respond, sometimes with short notice. You need to be on site no later than 60 minutes after our contact.

At Tolvåkerskolan, there is an adapted primary school, where we need to strengthen our team with substitute resources who want to work collaboratively with colleagues.

You are confident, engaged, and have a big heart for the students. You also need to be clear, structured, and good at collaborating.

About the Employment

You will be “called in” for hours when regular staff are absent, or provide extra staffing during limited periods.

This is not a full-time position, and you need to be prepared to start the substitute position no later than January 12.

When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to present an extract from the Police Criminal Record. The extract we require is “School or Preschool,” and you need to request the extract yourself, which you can find on the police website: Police Website (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/?mtm_campaign=utdrag&mtm_kwd=post0623).

Once you have received your extract, you will present it to the recruiting manager. Please note that the normal processing time at the police is about two weeks, so please order the extract when you apply for the position. The fastest way to obtain your extract is to use the e-service and order it online with BankId.

At Tolvåkerskolan – adapted primary school, students from grades 1 to 9 attend. We share facilities with Tolvåkerskolan F-6 and Tolvåkerskolan 7-9, which allows students in the adapted primary school to have class affiliation even in primary school. We work with the goal that all students should be inspired and challenged based on their conditions. They should feel the joy of succeeding! We do this by creating well-being and developing each student into an independent and curious person. At the school, we work together to create a strong sense of community.

Improving quality through follow-up, evaluation, and development is fundamental to us. We do this by continuously ensuring systematic quality work. Our work is based on collegial learning and a culture where we regularly meet colleagues to ensure good quality teaching with the student in focus. Each student has their own computer/tablet, and all classrooms are equipped with technical equipment. As a natural consequence of the 1:1 initiative, our educators have access to personal computers or tablets.
