Linåkerskolan is the municipality's only municipal middle school, with approximately 350 students and around 50 staff members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our teachers has chosen new challenges, we are now looking for a new colleague who will teach science subjects, mathematics with special competence, and has the opportunity to be a football coach for the students in the academy. You have good knowledge in the subjects you teach, and it is an advantage if you are a special education teacher in mathematics. The person leaving the position has also been a teacher trainer for the students in our football academy, and if you have experience in that, it is also an advantage.

Each employee belongs to a work team led by their team leader, and you have a common meeting time in the team once a week. The employees in the team have, in principle, all their teaching allocated to their specific team.

The assignment includes mentorship, in which you have a special responsibility to follow up and support the individual students' development in close cooperation with the student's guardians.

You collaborate with subject colleagues where development in the subject often occurs collectively with recurring subject team meetings. These subject teams develop, among other things, common plans regarding which subject areas (in each subject) are studied in which grade. At the same time, you as an individual teacher have great autonomy to conduct teaching. All teaching is based in Google Classroom.

We constantly have ongoing work at the organizational level to improve the organization and target efforts at the individual and group level to achieve as much as possible. The dynamics at the school are great. We constantly change, adjust, and seek solutions to make it as good as possible for our students.
