Folkhögskolan Skurup and Fridhem are looking for new substitutes for their SFI education in Malmö.

This is a unique opportunity for you as a teacher student to start gaining teaching experience.

As a substitute, you will cover SFI courses A-D when regular staff are absent. This can be both single assignments due to parental leave and illness, but also longer assignments such as vacation or sick leave. We are also looking for substitutes who want summer positions in the summer of 2026. We would like you to get to know the organization during the spring so that you can have your own class over the summer.

The needs vary from week to week. You should be available to work between 2-5 half days per week. Lessons are mainly scheduled for mornings from 09:00 to 12:30. You should be available to be called in the same morning and be able to accept at least two shifts per week.

We prefer that you are studying to become a teacher and have Swedish as a second language as one of your subjects. You should have good social skills and basic knowledge in teaching Swedish as a second language. Experience in teaching, especially in SFI, is an advantage.

As a substitute with us, you will teach in an inclusive folk high school environment and have the opportunity to develop your didactic skills with support from competent teaching colleagues. You will always have the opportunity to shadow regular teachers when needed and can receive support in planning from the work team.
