Your role with us

As a teacher with us, you stimulate students to learn and take responsibility. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom.

The teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching according to all students' levels, focusing on the best interests of the student.

Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you keep yourself updated on events in the world and the everyday lives of young people. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. In a systematic way, you reflect on the practical work and together with colleagues drive development work in the workgroup/school. You also have a shared responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development.

If you are new as a teacher, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance in your work, and if you are an unqualified teacher, you can conduct teaching but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grading lies with a qualified teacher.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for you with a teaching license with the qualification to teach in grades 4-6 in the subjects of Swedish, Mathematics, English, and Science in primary school. Secondly, we are looking for someone with subject knowledge at the university level in the above subjects. It is an advantage if you have pedagogical training at the university level. If you have experience working as a teacher in primary school, it is also an advantage, as well as if you have experience in conducting teaching.

You have the ability to adapt teaching according to each student's conditions, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a calm working environment, and a desire to learn. It is an advantage if you have a good ability to teach children in need of special support. If you also have the ability to support students in handling conflicts, we see that as a benefit. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is affected by the outside world.

A success factor is that you can create trusting relationships both inside and outside the school. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the workgroup's methods for continuous development.

Of course, you use digital technology in teaching and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure your work based on the specified goals.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well acquainted with and live up to the ethical principles for teachers, as well as having the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge.

To be able to consider your application, you must attach your diploma and teaching license. If there are no qualified licensed teachers, you who are unqualified can be employed on a temporary basis according to the Education Act. When we want to offer you the position, it is required that you present an extract from the police criminal record for us to be able to employ you, according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
