Kunskapsskolan Helsingborg is a primary school for grades 6-9 and currently has about 480 students. The school started in 2006 in a historic building by Slottshagsparken in the city and is easily accessible by both bus and train. At our school, we have satisfied students who feel safe and have high academic results. We have high expectations, see the potential in each individual, and are driven by development.

We are looking for an engaged teaching assistant who will support students in grades 6 and 8 to develop and reach their goals. The position is a fixed-term employment of 75%.

For each student to reach as far as possible, we need staff with a strong commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, so we are looking for someone who actively works to help the student succeed. As a teaching assistant, you will work alongside the student's teacher and the student health team to support and help the student reach their goals and succeed in school.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced teamwork approach. You are never alone with challenges and questions. The openness among staff is great, and we have a shared responsibility for our students. You will have close collaboration with the student's personal supervisor, subject teachers, and the student health team at the school to ensure the student receives the necessary support.

Qualifications

As a teaching assistant at Kunskapsskolan, you need to be good at collaborating. Therefore, we value that you are structured, engaged, and communicative, as well as being flexible and constructive in your collaborations.

Desirable qualifications

• Assistant training
• Education in NPF
• Experience working with children aged 12-16 years.

Job Design

The position is a fixed-term employment of 75%.
