The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, leisure centers, high school, adult education, and child and student health. Approximately 1100 employees work here to create a safe and developing school and childcare.

The municipal high school, Ystad Gymnasium, has about 1800 students and 300 staff and consists of five principal areas. Together we offer most national high school programs, introductory programs, and a large number of adapted high school programs. The school's vision is that all students should reach their full potential, and we stand for high quality and participation where each individual, in an inclusive culture, develops knowledge, skills, and democratic values.

The Child and Leisure Program with its two specializations, Leisure and Health and Educational and Social Work, belongs to area 1. About 190 students are enrolled in the program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in the Child and Leisure Program, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing the high school courses Pedagogy Level 2 and Human Environments.

During the period, several students will be doing APL, which means that you will also visit and assess students at their internship locations around southeastern Skåne together with colleagues.

You are part of a work team, and regular tasks associated with this role are included in the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect you to be a trained teacher, preschool teacher, or leisure educator.

It is an advantage if you have vocational teacher training and teaching experience from high school or adult education.
