About the Position

As a singing teacher with us, you will teach children and young people both individually and in small groups.

You will also be part of our rhythmic work in preschool – a fantastic opportunity to spark a love for music right from the start!

Teaching takes place in our premises in central Hässleholm and at various schools in the municipality after school hours, providing a varied and dynamic work environment.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Music pedagogical education (I/E) from a music college or equivalent competence
• Good collaboration skills and experience in project work with larger productions
• Broad musical competence and familiarity with various music styles

About Us

The Department of Education and Child Care is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and can be their best. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various activities and work for coordination between school and working life.

The Cultural School is a municipal activity for children and young people who want to deepen their knowledge in aesthetic subjects. At the Cultural School, 23 teachers work, and teaching takes place at the Cultural School and at several of the municipality's schools after school hours. Each week, about 700 students participate in our teaching, of which 350 students are involved in around 20 groups and ensembles. Each year, we conduct various types of events and concerts. We teach around 20 instruments, show & musical, visual arts, and comic drawing.
