We are now looking for a social pedagogue for grades 7-9 at Ankarsrums School.

Your Responsibilities

Our mission in the school is to provide all students with the conditions to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. Education in primary school is also about developing social skills and the ability to collaborate with others.

We are now looking for a social pedagogue or teacher with a low-affect approach who wants to work with us to prevent and remove barriers to learning. You will be part of our resource team in collaboration with other professionals and have a special responsibility for certain parts of the education. You will be a point of contact for students, guardians, and external support services, and collaborate closely with our educators in daily work.

Your main task is to work with smaller student groups and complement the teachers in their work. You will work to promote a good community among the students at the school. You are expected to become an important part of creating a safe and inclusive environment at the school. You will be there to support students in their personal development. This involves close collaboration with students, staff, and guardians. You will participate in group-strengthening activities. You will be an important part of the school's work around safety and study peace.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is a trained social pedagogue. It is an advantage if you have previous experience of pedagogical work with youth.

You are a person who easily collaborates, is clear in your communication combined with good pedagogical ability. You are responsive and open to students' specific needs. You need to be secure in yourself and have good self-awareness. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the operation. You have a good structure in your work planning and work solution-focused.
