Welcome to Viljan Solviken – a safe residence for individuals over 25 years old with mental disabilities or co-occurring disorders, who require extensive care and support.

With us, you will receive individually tailored support based on your needs and wishes, with a collaboratively developed plan to create a secure everyday life with routines and structure.

Viljan Solviken consists of three smaller detached villas with 8 rooms each, as well as the Dungen department with additional places. They are modernly equipped, and you will stay in a single room and share a shower and toilet with another person. We also have 4 single apartments about 400 m from the Solviken area. For relatives who wish to visit, there is accommodation available.

We offer round-the-clock staffing, with a nurse on-site during weekdays and access to a psychiatrist. You can also stay here if you are covered by LPT, LVM, or LRV in outpatient care, and we accept individuals in the LARO program.

We work with low-arousal approaches and schedule support, focusing on motivation and support that considers the whole you. Our goal is to strengthen your own skills and create a meaningful everyday life tailored to your interests.

Enjoy homemade meals from our own kitchen, where our trained chef prepares nutritious meals every day.

You support clients through conversations, and together you develop strategies to achieve goals in everyday life. Viljan Solviken is looking for a qualified therapist with a solid interest in the individual. Your work will primarily involve individual conversations based on clients' needs and circumstances. Since many of our residents have difficulties adhering to schedules and struggle with motivation, you need to be proactive in initiating conversations. The therapeutic conversations vary widely as conditions, implementation plans, and goals differ among individuals. You will be part of the treatment team at Solviken, which includes the Manager, ASI-trained staff, the CRA team, addiction therapists, and representatives from the treatment assistants. We work cross-professionally and closely to achieve goals and create secure conditions for our residents. 

Main responsibilities:

• Individual therapeutic conversations
• Documentation
• Participate in planning and follow-up regarding residents
• Participate in Solviken's treatment team
• Contribute to the development of treatment at Viljan Solviken
• Possible group therapy depending on placements and circumstances

You are relationship-building and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work.  You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner and enjoy cooperating with others.  You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Can provide proof of education that qualifies you to work as a therapist. 

Desirable:

• Specialization in CBT
• Relevant university education
• Driver's license

Role: Conversation Therapist

Employment form: Permanent or hourly employment as agreed. A six-month probationary period is always applied. 

Working hours: Part-time 20-50 %

Working time: Daytime, weekdays, working hours can be arranged as agreed

Start date: As soon as possible
