The Social Administration is responsible for the municipality's social care, including:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your task is to support, activate, and guide the individuals belonging to the service housing in their daily lives based on the individual's implementation plan derived from a support decision. Together with other staff, you are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and development of the operations.

Your main assignment is directed towards the service housing in the municipality, but working in other units is also included, more or less continuously.

The overarching goal is to have the user's needs at the center and to continuously adapt the content to make it meaningful for the person. You help create conditions for the users' daily lives in the form of activities and opportunities for social contexts.

As a support assistant, you provide everyday and planned support interventions based on the user's individual needs and wishes in accordance with LSS. Examples of tools for this include the establishment of implementation plans, other documentation, and work according to evidence-based methods. You should contribute to creating a meaningful and safe stay where the operations are shaped according to the users' specific strengths, interests, and needs. Care work occurs.

The interventions and activities at the service housing are guided by the users' interests as well as needs and abilities and are performed individually with the individual or together with other users in a group.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a secondary education focused on pedagogy, a care and nursing program with a focus on the disability area, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

Experience in social documentation and knowledge of methods such as AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) and (T)AAC (Signs as Alternative and Augmentative Communication) is meritorious as these are some of the methods used by the operations.

We would like you to have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism as well as knowledge of low-arousal approaches and digital competence. You should have the ability to empathize, reflect, and analyze your support and your approach based on the individual's needs and abilities. Based on that, you should have the ability to tailor and provide the individual with personalized support based on their conditions.

You are an independent and stable person who can maintain focus and calm even under rapidly changing circumstances. You take responsibility for planning and executing your tasks while having good collaboration skills and a solution-focused approach. You are a positive and supportive colleague and see feedback as an important part of learning and developing the operations and the area.

It is important that you have a professional approach towards the target group and its network, as well as towards your colleagues.
