Schools in Northern Land

We are now looking for someone who, with commitment and a sense of responsibility, wants to work as a substitute in our operations within schools and after-school care in the northern part of Västervik municipality.

Your Responsibilities

As a substitute, your task is to provide children and students with a safe and stimulating environment and to support the regular staff in their daily work. You may be studying, have another part-time job, or be at a stage in life where you are looking for a new job. The most important thing for us is that you are prepared to step in at short notice when we need you and that you are curious about our operations.

You will get to work in different units and be part of various teams. It is a varied, fun, and exciting assignment where you have the opportunity to work with experienced and skilled educators.

The substitute positions can range from 4 hours up to full-time for shorter periods. Sometimes substitutes are needed at short notice, which means that having a driver's license and access to a car can be beneficial.

Your Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years old, and we prefer that you have education and/or work experience in schools or preschools. We expect you to work from a holistic perspective on the child/student, respecting their individual needs.

It is important for us that you:

• have a positive attitude
• are caring and concerned about the well-being of children and students
• are responsible both regarding your tasks and your relationships with children, students, and colleagues
• are empathetic and genuinely care about other people
• are communicative and can easily make yourself understood and understand others, regardless of age
• are respectful and uphold every person's integrity

Having a ready smile and laughter is, of course, always a plus!

The most important thing is that you possess the personal qualities we are looking for to help children and students in their daily lives in the best way possible.

Being able to make yourself understood and understand others is important in these operations. Therefore, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
