Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. The man has an intellectual disability with elements of autism. He requires supervision around the clock and has extensive needs for help and support in his daily life. We prefer candidates who have previous experience in assistance!

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• can work active 24-hour shifts
• has experience with intellectual disabilities, autism, and low-arousal approaches
• has good collaboration skills and understands the importance of working in a coordinated manner
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Personal suitability will be given great importance!

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 90%. The job involves working 24-hour shifts and shifts of about 15 hours. Working hours are as follows: 08:00-08:00 and 07:45-23:30

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreements.

Start date

Introduction starting December 2025 or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana
