Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 44-year-old man living just outside Mönsterås
• Is social, family-oriented, and enjoys creating a safe and positive daily life
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Has a driver's license (a license for automatic is sufficient)
• Is tolerant of pets
• Is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Share interests with the man that include building projects around the house and gardening

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 80%. The job involves varied working hours. The shifts are scheduled as follows: 

Day: 08:00-20:00 Night: 20:00-08:00 (on-call between 00:00 - 04:12)

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
