JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a summer substitute, you will support children, youth, or adults with disabilities and/or dependency issues. It is a job where you give and receive an endless amount in return, a job that is truly important. When you work with us, you contribute to enabling people to live an independent and meaningful life, with social interaction and participation in society based on their circumstances.

When you work with us, you will among other things:

• provide practical and pedagogical support in daily life, personal care, and nursing
• plan and implement activities
• build good relationships with relatives
• convey a sense of security and create a relationship with the children, youth, or adults we are here for

We are looking for summer substitutes for group homes, service homes, short-term stays, daily activities, and housing support for children, youth, and adults with disabilities. We are also looking for substitutes for supported housing and mobile teams for individuals with dependency issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

The most important thing is that you are a responsible and attentive person. If you have relevant experience from work or are studying in fields such as healthcare, education, or social work, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. Tell us about yourself and your experiences in your application.

A driver's license is desirable and required for some of the summer jobs.

You will also need to provide a current extract from the police record. It can be ordered from the police website, and you should order the extract for work with children with disabilities.

OTHER

Kalmar municipality checks identity and work permits before anyone is hired. This means that you applying for a job with us need to show identification. If applicable, you may also need to show your residence and work permits.
