Welcome to Alphaförskolan Gertrud.

The foundation of all learning is developing trusting relationships with people in your surroundings, both among children and between children and educators, as well as among educators. Our activities are divided into three parts: free play, organized play, and guided educational activities. We actively work on projects to achieve these goals.

Your responsibilities:

-Create a safe environment and provide the care that children need.

-Conduct educational activities, both indoors and outdoors, that promote children's development and creativity.

-Work together with preschool teachers and other staff to create a holistic approach to children's care, upbringing, and learning.

-Daily contact with parents.

-Provide extraordinary support to children with special needs.

-Encourage play and movement, both indoors and outdoors, and create an environment where children can explore and discover their surroundings.

Childcare workers are an important part of the preschool staff and work closely with children to create a positive and developmental environment. They are responsible for providing children with a safe and stimulating environment where they can play, learn, and develop in accordance with the preschool curriculum (2018, rev. 2025). As a childcare worker, you will also contribute to realizing the goals set by the principal and the management for the activities.
