We are looking for an organized and flexible female personal assistant for a 33-year-old woman living with her partner in central Emmaboda. She has limited mobility and needs support and assistance in her daily life to ensure everything runs smoothly, while she clearly expresses how she wants help and support. She is an active and curious person who loves to work out at the gym, take walks in the fresh air, and listen to music. Makeup and hair care are among her great passions, and it would be fun if you share this interest and can inspire and engage with her in it.
As an assistant, you will be an important part of her daily life – someone who is present, encouraging, solution-oriented, and confident in bringing your own ideas. You will help plan activities, provide daily support, and accompany her on trips and experiences. Mental health is a central part of her life, and therefore we are looking for someone who has understanding, patience, and the ability to meet both ups and downs with calm and empathy – someone who can create security, hope, and balance in daily life.
If you also have experience or knowledge in tactile massage, that is a plus. The role offers variety and the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while using your creativity and initiative.
Job Responsibilities:
- Personal hygiene and care.
- Household chores.
- Support during social activities and hobbies.
- Assistance during meal situations and dressing/undressing.
- Assist with exercise and transfers.
- Support during showering and toilet visits.
You are:
- Strong and stress-resistant – with enough energy to keep up in a varied and eventful daily life.
- Independent and confident in traffic – you have a driver's license and are experienced in driving, as you will sometimes drive her car on outings and errands.
- Communicative – with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Attentive and outgoing – with an inventive and flexible attitude.
- Proactive and positive – with the ability to inspire, motivate, and create joy in daily life.
- Start Date: From December 1st.
- Employment Rate: 36 hours a week, 90% employment rate.
- Contract: Introductory shifts and about a month of hourly employment before the regular employment rate is assigned, provided everything goes well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
- Work Shifts: Includes day and evening shifts on weekdays, 3 shifts a week, with the possibility of extra shifts on weekends if needed. Each shift is from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
