JOB DESCRIPTION

As a social worker with us, you will have an important and varied job aimed at increasing the quality of life for children and young people with various disabilities.

You will be part of a team of competent and dedicated employees. Your main task is to make decisions about interventions according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) based on applicable legislation and practice.

Your work will also include follow-up on previously decided interventions, providing information about support, and handling appeals of decisions. The work involves collaboration with the individuals seeking assistance or who have been granted assistance, their relatives and representatives, as well as with our providers and other partners both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience in administrative work within authorities is a requirement. Experience in administrative work within LSS, knowledge of relevant legislation, experience with the target group of people with disabilities, as well as experience with the method Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC) and the operational system Lifecare is meritorious. A driver's license is a requirement.
