Do you have a strong commitment and a genuine interest in working with students with various disabilities? At Bråvallagymnasiet, you will be part of a workplace where we believe that all students have the potential to succeed!

Who are we?

In the autumn of 2019, we started a completely new school in the Bråvalla area and moved the vocational programs from Ebersteinska Gymnasiet here. Bråvallagymnasiet is an educational center for vocational training and is a creative and modern school filled with the latest technology.

The school has approximately 750 students across a wide range of vocational programs and is a new and modern high school for students interested in technology, innovation, and practical problem-solving.

Here, students receive a vocational diploma with the opportunity to continue their studies. We have a close collaboration with companies that provide students with internships, jobs, and exciting career opportunities.

Through joy, a wonderful atmosphere, skilled teachers, and supportive staff, we shape skilled, confident, and strong individuals. You will work in a team where close collaboration and shared understanding regarding the students are highly valued.

We are now looking for you, an engaged and active teacher who works to ensure that all students develop towards their goals, feel comfortable, secure, and have a conducive learning environment!

Please visit the school's website here: Bråvallagymnasiet (https://www.bravallagymnasiet.se)

Your Responsibilities

As a teacher in a special needs high school, your task is to plan, implement, follow up, and assess students' learning based on applicable governing documents.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma from a vocational school in automotive studies and a teaching degree from a university/college in Swedish and/or Natural Sciences and Social Studies. You have experience working as a vocational teacher and with students in adapted schools.

Furthermore, you have knowledge and experience working with students who have an intellectual disability diagnosis and low-arousal approaches.

As a person, you have the ability to handle complex pedagogical situations and understand how people absorb knowledge based on different conditions. You are motivated by collaboration and have a good ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

You are independent and have good leadership skills with clear routines where you provide students with in-depth knowledge and opportunities to grow. You also have a holistic view of students' time at school.
