Administrator for the Garrison Unit

The Life Guards Cavalry Barracks is now looking for an administrator for the Garrison Unit. As an administrator with us, you will be a central part of the Cavalry Barracks' administrative support. In this position, you will act as an orderer and support the site manager and the commander with various administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer incoming and outgoing messages in mail/email and document management systems
- Administer storage areas and calendars
- Order goods and services, and ensure delivery reception
- Order and follow up on cleaning services
- Follow up and document bookings of premises, parking spaces, and other common areas
- Follow up on vehicle status for the department's vehicles
In the role of administrator, you should also be prepared to resolve various issues in the ongoing work together with other staff at the regiment as needed. You will thus have a broad network of contacts.
Qualifications
- Work experience deemed relevant by the employer
- Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Driver's license B
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish

As a person, you are independent with a high ability to organize, prioritize, and plan your work both in the long and short term. You appreciate collaborating with others and have good teamwork skills even in pressured situations. A prerequisite for solving the tasks is that you are structured, driven, flexible, and solution-focused.

Meritorious

Employment form: Permanent, civilian employment. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time
Work location: Stockholm, Gärdet
Start date: By agreement
Salary: Individual salary setting, ranging between 29,000 and 35,000 SEK per month
At the cavalry barracks, the horse service is central, so you should not have allergies to pets or hay.

The Life Guards is one of the Swedish Armed Forces' largest units with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel who will carry out international missions. We guard the royal palaces, have security and ground combat units. We are also responsible for preserving and developing the Swedish military music tradition. Our headquarters is in Kungsängen outside Stockholm, but we are also located in Sollentuna, central Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, and Karlskrona.
