About the role
The Communications Department consists of 16 people who work both operationally and strategically. In this role, you will work approximately 50 percent with communication for a new EU partnership program aimed at securing sustainable access to critical raw materials in Europe. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, producing, and following up on communication that meets high quality and EU requirements. The remaining part of the position involves communication for Vinnova's regular operations.
Examples of tasks:
- Plan and implement communication for calls and program activities
- Lead the production of events and communication initiatives, including timelines, resources, deliveries, and budget
- Quality assure content in Swedish and English for different target groups
- Transform complex and fact-heavy information into relevant and engaging communication
- Plan and execute digital and physical events (conferences, workshops, matchmaking)
- Support researchers and project leaders in disseminating results
- Follow up and analyze communication efforts based on goals and EU requirements
Qualifications:
- Academic education in media and communication studies, journalism, or another communication education deemed equivalent by Vinnova
- Documented experience in production management
- Practical experience in event production and event communication
- Experience in adapting complex information for different target groups
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge of how research and innovation work in Sweden
- Familiarity with the raw materials sector and/or sustainability communication
- Experience in international communication, for example through EU projects or international collaborations
- At least five years of work experience
The role is placed in a unit focused on digital communication and requires you to be comfortable working in various digital environments and systems.
Desirable qualifications:
- Additional European language (e.g., French or Spanish)
- Experience in coaching and supporting others in communication matters
- Work experience from the public sector
- Experience in communication related to research funding or research support

Location
We apply hybrid work, where our employees combine working from home with working in the office. At least half of the working hours must be spent in our activity-based office at Mäster Samuelsgatan 56, just a few minutes' walk from Stockholm Central Station. The position will involve mandatory travel within the EU.
Employment type:
Permanent employment, starting with a six-month probationary period.
