Administrator for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' investigation into the establishment of a civil foreign intelligence service (UD2025:01)

For those with a high school education and relevant work experience, there is now an opportunity to apply for the position of administrator to the implementation committee tasked with establishing a civil foreign intelligence service. The implementation committee consists of 14 employees and a number of experts and specialists connected to the committee. As an administrator, you will play an important role as administrative support and contact person in administrative matters. The work includes independent planning, ongoing administration, coordination and execution of various internal and external meetings, travel and visit planning, as well as maintaining and developing internal routines. Administrative support in case management, archiving, and disclosure matters will occur, as well as IT, budget, and accounting issues. The work requires great attention to detail, even with a periodically high work pace. You will have many parallel and varied tasks, and you are expected to take personal responsibility, drive and follow up internal processes, and, when necessary, develop and improve administrative routines.

Your background

You have a high school education and at least three years of work experience in service and operational support, administration, management, finance/accounting, or another area deemed relevant. You have experience with administrative tasks within public administration. Experience from a government agency and the Government Offices is an advantage. You need to have good general IT skills and strong knowledge of the Office suite. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Since your work is characterized by many points of contact, it is important that you have excellent collaboration skills and communication abilities both in writing and verbally.

Other

The position entails employment as an investigation secretary according to the agreement for experts within the Government Offices (the specialist agreement). The position is temporary until December 31, 2026. There are good opportunities to apply for positions in the new agency that will start its operations on January 1, 2027. The place of employment is Stockholm.

The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen.
