Your new role

In the role of our new Project Controller, you will belong to the Project Controlling department located in Södermalm, Stockholm.

As a Project Controller, you contribute to the governance of the business's projects from a financial perspective. This means that you work proactively with analyses of key figures, forecast changes, and deviations, and come up with proposals for improvement measures. In this role, you act as a business partner and work closely with project owners and project managers to implement and secure financial guidelines and procedures for the projects. You support by providing decision-making data and perform root cause analyses as needed. You also actively participate in steering group meetings and project meetings together with project managers and other steering group members.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsible for monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the projects
• Guide and support project managers in financial follow-up and cost control
• Conduct ongoing reconciliations regarding projects and costs with project managers on current projects
• Participate in creating financial structure at project start, follow-up, and closure
• Interpret and draw conclusions from information in our reporting and analysis tools
• Participate in bid calculations
• Ensure that financial guidelines and global procedures and processes are followed in the projects

About you

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has:

• University or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 ECTS) with a focus on finance
• Very good knowledge of Excel and experience working in Power BI
• Experience working with reporting and analytical data
• Ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• A couple of years of relevant work experience
• It is an advantage if you have:
• Experience in consulting, construction, contracting, and/or real estate industries.
• Experience working in Maconomy
