About our client
Our client is an independent institute with extensive experience in research and analysis in foreign and security policy. Through studies, analyses, conferences, and publications, the institute actively contributes to deepening and broadening the foreign policy conversation in Sweden. With over 70 employees and several specialized knowledge centers, our client continues to grow and develop. The operations are located in modern premises in central Stockholm.
About the role:
As an HR consultant, you will be responsible for leading the recruitment and onboarding of consultants and key personnel, ensuring the quality of contracts, and providing advice on labor law issues. The role requires the ability to collaborate digitally in the local context and manage contracts while disseminating the institute's working methods and policies. The Ukrainian branch has its own regulations that must be followed, while ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with the institute's guidelines. You will monitor compliance in areas such as anti-corruption and discrimination. The role involves close collaboration with managers, support functions, and project teams where you contribute to developing routines and strengthening the client's internal culture around ethics and regulatory awareness.
As an HR consultant, you will:
- Lead and be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of employees, key personnel, and consultants.
- Ensure that contracts are properly established and comply with both internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Provide advice and support in labor law, contract law, and compliance.
- Work closely with the project controller and contribute to creating an ethical and regulatory-aware work culture.
We are looking for someone who
- Has an academic background in HR, economics, law, or equivalent experience.
- Has at least five years of experience in similar tasks, including contract management and compliance.
- Has very good experience in international relations.
- Has excellent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Ukrainian is a plus but not a requirement.
- Is unpretentious, meticulous, has high integrity, and possesses sound judgment.
- Has a knack for building relationships and is pedagogical in your communication style.

The start is immediate, and the work will be performed at the client's office in Stockholm. The assignment begins as a fixed-term employment for 3 months, with good opportunities for extension up to a total of 10 months. This is a consulting role via Adecco.
