The operations of Försäkringskassan are critical to society and must continuously develop to conduct its activities stably and resiliently in all situations, including during crises and, in the worst case, war. We are a large organization with about 14,000 employees, of which nearly 900 hold managerial positions. How leadership and management are exercised is therefore a permanently prioritized strategic management issue. Försäkringskassan is now recruiting an experienced manager and organizational developer as part of an initiative to further strengthen the authority's management system.

Your mission involves providing strategic support to the agency's managers in dialogues regarding assignments, development, and sustainability in operations and will, for example, support responsible managers in recurring management dialogues. You will work both with individuals and groups to strengthen and develop the managers and their operations. In larger changes, you will provide advice and support to the agency's management team, both with individual managerial development, management team development, as well as organizational development and changes.

To succeed in your mission, we believe you are an experienced organizational consultant or organizational psychologist with many years of experience working with managerial development and organizational development at a strategic level. Experience in leadership is an asset in the role, as strategic work requires a holistic view, decision-making ability, and understanding of how the organization functions in practice.

The function is under construction, where your specific experience is expected to help shape its direction and content together with other supportive functions within the agency.

As a person, you are secure and stable. You have the ability to create good and trusting relationships, which you approach with high integrity. You drive and complete the tasks that may be initiated by the Director General, HR Director, or other clients. Through the work you do with the agency's managers and your ability to analyze and understand a complex organization, we believe you will quickly identify new assignments and development needs. You are an excellent communicator and skilled facilitator.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a university degree or experiences/qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
  • experience from work at a strategic level in public operations
  • several years of experience in a role focused on managerial support in larger and complex organizations
  • experience working with managerial supply and succession planning
  • worked with individual and management group development over time with documented results
  • experience working with all parts of the ARUBA process
  • excellent communication skills
  • good judgment, personal maturity, and high integrity
  • good collaboration skills where you create networks and build trusting relationships.

Other
