About the position

As a portfolio manager for operational projects within the Network division, you will play a key role in driving and coordinating the work with our operational development portfolio – one of four sub-portfolios within Svenska kraftnät. You will ensure that the right projects are initiated, executed, and followed up efficiently.

The portfolio's processes and governance tools have been developed in recent years, and we are now looking for someone who can take portfolio management to the next level.

You will work with:

• Preparing decision and reporting materials and leading meetings with the sub-portfolio council (the division's management group)
• Ensuring that the portfolio is current and accurate by being responsible for the qualification, reporting, and follow-up processes
• Driving and coordinating the preparation work for new projects, including benefit assessments, feasibility checks, and ensuring that the right conditions are in place, as well as proposing prioritization for decisions in the portfolio council
• Ensuring that the portfolio's governance tools, such as priority lists, long-term plans, and dependency maps are updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders in the organization
• Supporting the work to identify new projects and initiatives to achieve Svenska kraftnät's strategic goals
• Participating in and driving the development of portfolio management and operational development within the Network division and between divisions

You will have the opportunity to coordinate the division's work and contribute to realizing the effects of the growing number of projects and ongoing initiatives. The role provides an opportunity to create a function for portfolio management within operational development. This involves developing processes for needs management, coordinating with, for example, line and IT management, as well as working with change management and following up on effects.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will gain deep insights into the electricity industry and have the opportunity to be close to many of the significant changes linked to the energy transition. You will build a broad network and have extensive contact points with other divisions and their portfolios. You play a key role in the digital transformation of the electricity grid industry.

The Network division is one of four divisions within Svenska kraftnät, and you will belong to the Network staff that coordinates cross-divisional issues such as strategy, operational architecture, and portfolio management. We have a good atmosphere with driven employees of various ages with senior expertise who help and support each other.

About you

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has the ability to create order and clarity in complex contexts. You thrive on collaboration and see the value in building good relationships with different parts of the organization. Your communicative strength allows you to convey messages clearly and convincingly, which helps you drive the work forward and create engagement among various stakeholders.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have an academic degree in a relevant field for the position. You also have:

• Extensive experience working in a comprehensive strategic and operational role with portfolio management
• Experience communicating and acting with management groups
• Experience in project management and project governance models
• Experience in change management
• Significant experience in cross-functional work in a large organization
• A very good ability to understand and express yourself in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of:

• Working with the implementation of operational IT
• Models for calculating and following up on benefit effects
• Work experience from the energy sector
