Technical Writer at Combitech in Stockholm

Combitech in Stockholm is looking for an engaged and driven technical writer who is either at the beginning of their career or has a few years of experience. Your Role as a Technical Writer

The role of a technical writer involves closely collaborating with technical experts to be responsible for the creation, updating, and supplementation of target audience-adapted technical documentation such as assembly instructions, system descriptions, user manuals, maintenance manuals, and spare parts catalogs. In this role, you will also contribute to developing work methods and processes.

The work is performed independently or in teams, either on-site with clients or from our office in Alvik. Our clients are primarily in the defense industry but also in the automotive industry, medical technology, and other high-tech industries.

Who Are You?

You have an interest in technology and language, as well as an education in fields such as cognitive science or another relevant technical area. Experience with CMS, S1000D, and STE is a plus.

We are looking for a solution-oriented and driven person who effectively organizes their work. You enjoy collaborating and creating new contacts, are communicative and attentive. Additionally, you have excellent language skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As the position may involve work subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
