Sodexo is responsible for reception with café, switchboard, conference services, janitorial services, mail, goods, cleaning, security, SBA, etc. at a client site in Sickla. We now need to complement our team with someone who wants to take the main responsibility for the reception but also has the appropriate background to closely collaborate with and support the person responsible for the café section, preparing everything from sandwiches, salads, lunches, and catering for meetings.

We are looking for someone who has kitchen experience but is attracted to working at the reception and looks forward to being the customer's face to the outside world. You have good organization skills and a desire to deliver the best possible service. You will work in a team that manages the reception/café and switchboard, as well as taking care of conference services and office services such as mail and goods handling, restocking materials, and changing return containers.

Working with us is varied, challenging, and requires great personal commitment. The reception, where the café is also located, is the hub of our operations from which we do everything from receiving external customers, answering the switchboard, and managing our ticketing portal to helping the client's employees with access cards and other inquiries. We work flexibly and help each other, and the tasks are varied. It is therefore important that you are unpretentious, open, and curious, and see it as a natural task to create a good atmosphere in the workplace. This job is for you who enjoy having a lot to do and where the day goes by quickly.

Your main tasks will consist of:

  • Daily reception work;
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Access card management
  • Answering the switchboard
  • Maintaining order and cleanliness in the reception
  • Updating written procedures and checklists
  • Issue management in our portal
  • Handling inquiries and orders by phone, over the counter, and email
  • Mail and goods handling
  • Purchasing office supplies
  • Daily café work;
  • Assisting in preparing sandwiches, salads, etc.
  • Cash register/Sales in the café but also some preparation of sandwiches, salads, etc.
  • Delivering catering to internal meetings
  • Assisting with administration in the café such as purchasing, inventory, follow-up, etc.
  • Other;
  • Managing conference rooms and bookings
  • Dishes/Cleaning of reception/café
  • Handling return containers for paper and cardboard, etc.
  • Restocking office supplies on the floors

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Professional experience from working in a kitchen is necessary
  • Express yourself well in Swedish and English in both speech and writing
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Experience working in a reception is an advantage
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Employment form and working hours:

The employment is permanent with a 6-month probationary period. Working hours are daytime.
