Responsibilities and tasks as a Senior Accountant Prenax offers an exciting Nordic accounting role, where the person will work with the company's branches in the Nordics. The role is broad and includes everything from ongoing accounting to participation in reporting, budget-forecast processes, tax, and more complex accounting technical issues. You will work closely with the Nordic CFO and together work to maintain good control, compliance, and efficient work processes.

You will work with:

• Monthly/year-end closings
• Participation in reporting to the parent company
• Reporting to authorities
• Auditing and preparation of annual reports and declarations
• Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation
• Currency revaluation and currency trading
• Assistance in budget and forecast work
• VAT management including Nordic VAT management (accounting, triangular trade, intrastat, periodic compilation, reporting to authorities)
• Involvement in tax-related issues
• Involvement in branch structure issues
• Active and driving in various ongoing improvement projects within the department, e.g., related to internal control, efficiency, and improvements in the business system.

Experience and qualifications We prefer that you have at least 5 years of experience in accounting. You have an academic education in economics or similar and have very good knowledge of both Swedish and English.

As a person, you enjoy being in a changing environment and are driven by development. You are responsible and work in a structured manner. Furthermore, you thrive in a role as part of a team while being comfortable working independently and without prestige.
