ArkivIT is a consulting company with expertise in digital archive and information management, offering services in our areas of Archive & Registry, Data Protection, Information Security, and E-archives. The company was founded in 2010, and since then, our services have expanded, our expertise has broadened, and we continue to grow. Our consultants are dedicated to their profession and contribute their specialist knowledge to clients throughout Sweden. Our ambition is to care for and protect the digital cultural heritage while strengthening our clients in modern e-governance and information management.

About the role ArkivIT is now looking for consultants with a particular interest in e-archives and development. You should have a background as an archivist/e-archivist.

Within the e-archive group, we work with the implementation, development, and management of systems for e-archiving, including feasibility studies, requirements analysis, functional specifications, implementation, and system deployment. To accomplish this, we need both (e-)archivists, system developers, and project managers. An e-archivist may also have assignments that do not involve e-archiving but rather more traditional archivist work with paper archives.

Our clients are primarily in the public sector and can range from municipalities to larger authorities, but they are also represented in the private sector, mainly in banking and finance.

Qualifications

• University degree in archival science with at least 60 credits or equivalent higher-level education
• Several years of experience as an archivist, e-archivist, IT archivist, or equivalent role
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish

Personal qualities As a person, you enjoy being part of a team, have good communication skills, and can collaborate effectively. You need to be able to take initiative and come up with solutions.
