Warranty Administrator at Riddermark Bil – Technical Specialist

Riddermark Bil is now looking for a warranty administrator for our head office in Alvik. We are looking for someone who truly understands cars – and who wants to use that knowledge to make correct, well-founded decisions in warranty and complaint cases.

About the Role

As a warranty administrator, you are responsible for assessing warranty and complaint cases from a technical and business perspective. You work closely with workshops, spare parts suppliers, and internal functions, where your experience becomes crucial in distinguishing between what is warranty, wear, or misuse. This is not a junior administrative role – it is a specialist function where your technical understanding and judgment are central to every decision. We work at a fast pace and you are expected to keep many balls in the air at the same time.

Responsibilities

Assess warranty and complaint cases based on technical facts and documentation
Analyze troubleshooting, action proposals, and cost estimates from workshops
Make decisions on what should be approved, rejected, or adjusted
Ensure correct handling of spare parts, labor times, and actions
Maintain ongoing dialogue with workshops regarding troubleshooting and action levels
Communicate decisions clearly to internal functions and customers
Contribute to developing work methods and raising the technical level in the team

We are looking for someone who

Has several years of experience in the automotive industry, for example as a mechanic, technician, or workshop manager
Has good skills in troubleshooting and understands what actually causes a fault
Has experience with spare parts, component level, and reasonable actions
Can differentiate between warranty cases, wear, and misuse
Is used to making decisions and standing by them
Is structured and can work in systems – without losing the overall picture
Communicates clearly and professionally, both internally and externally
Has a business-oriented mindset and understands the cost picture of various actions

Meritorious

Experience in warranty management or complaints
Previous work as a technical advisor, mechanic, troubleshooter, or similar
Experience in calculating labor time and spare parts

Salary

30,000–40,000 SEK/month depending on experience and competence
