Your Job and Responsibilities
We are now looking for a Customer Responsible Financial Manager for a longer temporary position of about 12 months. As a Financial Manager at SBC, you will work with a strong customer focus and be part of our expert team. In this role, you will have significant responsibility with your own portfolio of SBC customers. You will guide and assist our customers in various property financial matters through advice and analysis while managing the entire flow of the associations' accounting. With your good knowledge, you will be a reliable point in the customers' everyday lives and you always strive to provide an excellent customer experience.
You will work broadly within property economics with issues related to ongoing accounting, loans, and budgeting. You will combine this with having a very customer-oriented role and always strive to offer excellent customer service. The job includes renegotiating contracts and training boards in our digital tools and finance.
Main Responsibilities
- Financial advice and support to SBC customers (BRF boards).
- Ongoing accounting and reconciliations.
- Year-end closing and declarations.
- Budget work.
- Financial reporting.
- Conducting meetings and budget meetings for customers.
- Financial analyses.
- Loan procurement.
- Administrative tasks related to the area of responsibility.
- Training and onboarding boards in housing cooperative laws, finance, and digital tools.
- Renegotiations
What You Have
We believe that you who are applying for this role have some years of experience in accounting. You do not need to have worked specifically with housing cooperative management or in the real estate industry but have worked with parts or the entire flow of the accounting process. At SBC, we have many experts in housing cooperative management, and therefore we do not require previous experience from the industry; we can teach you on-site. We also place great importance on your personal qualities and willingness to develop.
We believe you are a person with a strong drive who can guide customers in finance in a pedagogical and communicative way. You thrive in customer-oriented roles where you become a natural sounding board and expert for their questions. You have a post-secondary education, preferably in finance. We believe you see yourself as an organized and analytical person, who is social and has a strong ability to create and build good customer relationships.
