In this role, you will become part of Aeronautics in the area of IT Applications and belong to the Design Applications section, which is responsible for the management, development, and user support of Aeronautics CAD tools within design. The section provides systems and methods for Model Based Definition (MBD) with extensive expertise in system management, system development, system administration, user support, and method development. Your Responsibilities

As a system developer, you will work in a broad role that includes both daily operations and development of Saab's systems, such as VPM and Catia. You will systematically work on developing solution proposals, concepts, and ideas to enhance and streamline Saab's systems, where a central part of the role is to transform business requirements into well-functioning and sustainable system solutions. 

In your daily work, you will be responsible for tasks such as installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, error correction, testing, documentation updates, and programming. In this role, you will be involved in the entire chain from idea and design to implementation and management, giving you a comprehensive view of system development and the opportunity to contribute your ideas and expertise at every step. 

Your Profile

For the role of system developer, we see that you have a post-secondary education in computer engineering, IT, system science, mechanical engineering, or design and product development. You have also had a few years of experience in a similar field.

For the role, it is also desirable that you have experience in some of the following areas:

• System management or system administration.
• Integrations.
• Server setups.
• Windows administrative functions.
• UNIX and AIX environments.
• Developing scripts/programs for automation via Visual Basic Script, VB.NE, JavaScript, Java, Shell/KornShell, CAA, SQL, C++, and/or C#.
• Version control via SVN and GIT.
• PPLM systems and Agile methodologies.

As a person, you are engaged, responsible, and results-oriented. You have a good analytical ability that allows you to think innovatively and find solutions to challenges and problems. You enjoy working both independently and in teams, and you can communicate fluently in Swedish and English. 

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Initially, you will be employed as a consultant with Skill for 6 months and thereafter have good opportunities to transition to a permanent position at Saab. Start date is according to agreement.
