Welcome to the unit for support and development within the health and social care administration! The unit's areas of work include, among other things, medical responsibility, fee processing, financial support, administration towards the board and management, IT development, and digital transformation. We provide support in all areas towards management, politicians, and operations in various development assignments to achieve the board's goals.

The workplace is centrally located in Partille, at the municipal building, with proximity to both bus and train communication.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this key role, you will be a central part of our digital transformation and have the opportunity to influence how we work with digitalization and welfare technology to create real benefits for both employees and users.

Health and social care in Partille is facing an exciting development where digitalization and innovation are in focus. As a development leader, you will be the spider in the web to identify and support the implementation of digital and automated solutions. Your mission is to support the operations and our managers in meeting future demands while creating conditions for improved quality, increased efficiency, a better user experience, and value extraction.

As a development leader, you will also support the head of administration and management in the coordinating work with information security. You will work together with the system manager to ensure that the administration's information security complies with the municipality's common policies and guidelines.

The assignment is scheduled during daytime Monday to Friday, with room for occasional evenings in connection with the board. You will come to a workplace that values collaboration and where your contribution truly makes a difference. The position is a permanent employment at 100%, and we offer a stimulating environment focused on development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education in digitalization, system science, or e-health. Alternatively, you have education that the employer deems relevant in combination with work experience in the field. You have experience leading digitalization projects, preferably within the public sector or health and social care. Furthermore, we see that you need to have a good understanding of the needs, processes, and regulations of health and social care operations.

Experience in change management and implementation of new tools and methods is meritorious for the position. Likewise, experience with operational IT solutions as well as digital platforms and e-health systems. A good understanding of IT security and data protection (GDPR) within the public sector is also desirable.

To succeed in this role, we see that you need to have good analytical and strategic skills to identify long-term goals, development needs, obstacles, and possible solutions. You need to have the ability to create a methodical plan for the work ahead, which you then approach with an agile mindset.

Furthermore, we see that you need to be an educational person who can communicate technical concepts in an easily understandable way to different target groups. In combination with your analytical ability, you can thus see connections and logic in complex information, summarize it, and communicate it in a way that is adapted to the recipient and their knowledge/interest level.

You have a strong interest in digital issues and ensure that you stay updated through environmental monitoring of new technologies, trends, and innovations in digitalization, automation, and AI, as well as evaluating how these can be applied within health and social care operations. With this interest comes the willingness and ability to independently take initiative and drive issues forward, sometimes on your own and sometimes in a team with others. In your work, you demonstrate a clear quality focus and a holistic perspective.

Last but not least, we see that the ability to collaborate and cooperate is important as you will have many contacts in your work, both internally and externally.
