About the workplace
The Collaborative Guardianship Authority is organizationally placed within the municipal management office.
The unit also includes budget and debt counseling. We offer an important and developing job with interesting, varied, and challenging tasks. An independent job with supervision, investigation, and handling of cases related to guardianship and trusteeship.
The office is located in premises in central Uddevalla. Good commuting opportunities with just a few minutes' walk from Uddevalla central station and Kampenhof bus station.
Job responsibilities
Do you want to make a difference and contribute to legal security for people in vulnerable life situations? Uddevalla municipality is looking for an engaged caseworker/reviewer for the Collaborative Guardianship Authority.
As a caseworker/reviewer at the Collaborative Guardianship Authority, you will play an important role in ensuring that individuals who are guardians or trustees have their rights respected and that guardians and trustees carry out their duties correctly. Your efforts contribute to creating security and legal certainty for some of the municipality's most vulnerable citizens.
About the position
Your main responsibilities as a reviewer will be to:
- Review reports from guardians and trustees
- Ensure that financial reporting and management comply with applicable legislation
- Ensure that guardians and trustees act in the best interest of their wards
- Communicate with guardians, trustees, and other relevant parties to ensure correct and efficient management
The position also includes other administrative tasks.

Who are we looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in economics, law, or another relevant background
- Has an eye for detail and a structured approach and can work towards set goals.
- Is used to working independently but is also good at collaborating.
- Is confident in making decisions and working according to laws and guidelines
- Has good communication skills and can explain financial and legal terms in an easily understandable way
Qualifications
You should have:
- Post-secondary education in economics, law, or similar, or work experience that we consider equivalent
- Good computer skills and experience working in digital systems
- Experience from public administration or having held a position as a guardian/trustee is an advantage
