At the Corporate Office, which is our overarching administration, we work daily to make a difference for patients, employees, visitors, and residents. The Corporate Office's task is to lead, develop, and coordinate Västra Götalandsregionen's operations and to support the region's various administrations in achieving the politically decided goals.

The Department of Agreements, Production Control, and Finance is one of five departments within the Corporate Staff for assignments and healthcare production at the Corporate Office. The department includes several important and exciting assignments, and the overarching goals are to contribute to productive and accessible healthcare and appropriate and efficient planning and follow-up of the use of financial resources.

We are now expanding our finance team, which, together with department heads, the finance manager, and our legal department, will strengthen our ability to combat welfare crime.

Your Assignment

As a controller against welfare crime, you will work both strategically and operationally with both follow-up and preventive measures in our financial systems related to our external care agreements. You will be part of a team consisting of other competencies that work closely together against welfare crime. You will work independently and together with your contract-responsible colleagues within the Corporate Staff for assignments and production, as well as lawyers in the Corporate Staff for administration and security. You will actively contribute to the development of the finance team's core processes and create effective working methods to continuously improve our work. You will also provide coaching and proactive financial support to department heads within the staff for assignments and healthcare production, as well as strategic development of healthcare. You will also work with overarching assignments and be part of various networks and working groups within the Corporate Office.

To Succeed in the Role, You Need:

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in finance and experience in process management. Experience in follow-up and auditing within healthcare is an advantage, as well as an understanding of different types of assignments and agreements and associated compensation models within the healthcare sector. It is also beneficial if you have an overall understanding of the financing system within the sector.
