Do you have a financial background and are interested in working broadly and closely with operations in a role where your skills and interests are valued? Welcome to apply for the position of controller at SÄS's finance unit.

About our open position
The position includes a variety of tasks and several areas of responsibility. You will support decision-makers, both hospital management and operational managers. You will guide department heads and other managers in matters through a proactive and coaching approach, and be part of their management team. Furthermore, you will work with analysis and follow-up, such as reporting on operational results and benefit calculations. Together with your colleagues in the unit, you will propose and implement changes in the processes we operate within.

Consequently, you will work on regional and hospital-wide assignments and also directly with individual operations at SÄS.

We will utilize your skills by adapting the position according to your background, experience, and interests.

About us in the finance unit
In the finance unit, 10 controllers work with shared and different areas of responsibility. For us, it is important to have a good team spirit, and we work closely together in the group and support each other in our daily work. We work closely with operations and also collaborate with other functions at SÄS on various issues, projects, and assignments.

The finance area in VGR has begun a major change initiative where everyone in the unit will be involved. We network with other hospitals within VGR where part of the development work takes place.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance and a few years of experience in financial work, or extensive work experience in a similar position that the employer deems equivalent.

As a person, you are analytical, proactive, and have a driving approach, communicating in an educational manner. You are driven by change and development, both for yourself and others. We work both in teams and independently, which makes it important that you have good social skills and the ability to collaborate, but also can make your own priorities. You need to be able to switch between detailed issues while maintaining an overall perspective. You want to be involved in developing healthcare and actively support and challenge the organization through your skills to facilitate development. The role requires that you are accustomed to working with both operational and strategic issues. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
